sometimes late at night when im doing some design work, or when im on my way back from the printing job which took all day long, or when im in the middle of rendering some animation and it takes too long and im in a hurry coz the client is always in a hurry, or on my way to Beirut(80 miles from where i live in tripoli) to spend one night doing some work for a client and having to stay up all night so i can finish it and get back home so i can start another busy day...or when someone who doesnt understand design starts to give me directions on how to do my job, or when my mother thinks she can interfere in my work just because we're close, or when i get paid very little for something that i worked hard on, or when something is spilled on what i spent a whole lot of money to print out, or when i print something on glossy paper and it starts catching every grain of dust and hair and by the time im done working with it it looks like shit... in all these situations it comes to my mind that i really hate graphic design...
i know this is quite radical, but im the kind of person which hates the technical aspects of art, and absolutely hate it when these technical aspects give me a hard time...
u know...i always wanted to be a movie director...movies are my real thing, moving =camera, music...not designing prints...
does anyone else feel really down at times when it comes to art as a job?
